This comprehensive course equips dental nurses with the expertise to deliver oral health education and promotion, as well as administer fluoride varnish. It is structured to give dental nurses the confidence and competency required to excel as oral health educators, which is vital for enhancing the overall oral health of our patients and communities. The course takes approximately 9–12 months.

Video Tutorials
The course is taught through our academy website here and includes recorded online video tutorials, which include bite-sized videos followed by multi-choice questions. You can test our online learning systems, listen to the tutor Melanie and gain free verifiable CPD here.
Tutor Support
Each student is allocated a tutor and assessor who will assist you virtually – both with the theory and with the clinical work. You will have access to your tutor’s email address, and tutors are available at specified times to speak by telephone. You can also speak to your tutor via online classrooms. Your tutor will assess your record of competence throughout the nine months and provide you with guidance and feedback.
