CRB CHECKS???

12 years 4 months ago #2343 by MLA
Hello, the CRB check cannot be "ordered" by yourself, but you might have to pay for it.
The employer can arrange it for you and then you pay for the cost, unless he-she will pay it for you.
There is a standard CRB check and the extended or deeper CRB check.
As mentioned above, the information is all on the Web page.

The sad thing is, as soon as you have the CRB check in your hand, it really is invalid.
Because it cannot check in to the future...
But I guess it is the best we can have. ;)

My employers have always just sorted my CRB checks out but if you go on the DirectGov website it tells you everything you need to know.

Hope this helps.

Ok!! I really need your help on this. I will be starting work in a new practice next week and have been asked to have a CRB check. I have no idea about how to proceed from here, as I have never done it before. Where do I get an application form?? Can anyone please advise??

Thank you!! :)
