Non Verifiable Hours question

Received an email yesterday

"When you undertake reading as CPD, you should record the actual amount of time you spent doing it. Not count every article as 1 hour."

I'm afraid I don't know the definite answer to this but I was told by a colleague that this is right but you then have to think about how large the article was and how fast/slow a reader you are so I'm not so sure of it myself. I'm doing to email the GDC to see if they can shed any light!

I'm new to this site so sorry if this is a stupid question....

Regarding mom-verifiable hours; reading articles etc. Do these articles have a standard amount of time that is entered into the CPD log? eg, do all articles count as 0.5 hours or so? I can't seem to find this info anywhere.

I did read the oral cancer screening article in about 10mins but I had a look at the reference links etc. Can I justifiably log it as 0.5 hours?

I'm not sure if this question makes sense haha but any advice on how you guys log CPD articles would be great
