May 2014
BADN are conducting a survey into the salaries and other working conditions of dental nurses working in the UK. This information will allow us, amongst other things, to present a coherent case to the GDC for lowering the Annual Retention Fee for dental nurses. [/color]All individual personal information will remain confidential - the information presented to the GDC and any other bodies will be overall information in chart/table form, with no indication of specific individuals' responses.
We would be delighted if you would complete the survey by clicking on the link below. You will also be able to forward an invitation to complete the survey to other dental nurses. The greater the number of dental nurses who complete this survey, the more powerful our case for lowering the ARF will be.
Please do not feel that because you are working part time, or only earning minimum wage, that your contribution is not important - on the contrary, your completion of the survey will enable us to get a much clearer overall picture of dental nurse salaries!
The survey closes at the end of June 2014 - you will be able to re-visit the survey and amend your responses until then. You might find it helpful to have your salary/tax information (P60) for the tax year ending April 2014 to hand when you complete the survey.
