9£ is good if you just got qualified this year, otherwise minimum should be 11£ to start with.

well the 5% rise in the nhs charges automatically give the GDPs a rise. I got 1% in nov (my annual review) and had to ask for it!
this year I will be asking for more as they have had 5%. I shouldn't complain too much as I am fairly well paid for a dental nurse at over 9.00ph already

Nope but I had to bring it up because when minimum wage goes up soon I'll be on less than that so he will have to. Such a shame we train and put so much into our jobs and we aren't rewarded enough in my experience. Hope you get one though!

Not had a pay rise in three years and only got that one after 3 years of asking for it and then was hardly worth it! Not expecting one this year, it just ain't gonna happen

That one I know, I was asking general nurses that are above that minimum wage.

Hi

As far as I'm aware the new financial year starts 1st April so you'd not get the pay rise until your April pay mine is due end of April. I wouldn't worry it'll come.
