Hi there, you shouldn't put anything plastic into the ultrasonic bath as they absorb the energy. Check with your manufacturer though.

Hello - I qualified about one year and a half ago but I am lead nurse, and I was trained that plastic items can’t go in the ultrasonic bath, it was in my course. Hope that helps a little! X

Hi, Someone told me we cannot put plastic equipment / instruments like xray holders into the ultrasonic bath, I am doing some CPD and cannot find this documented or explained anywhere! including manufactures guidelines on walker electronics Q105 or HTM01-05.
Has anyone heard this before? or does anyone know where I can find this information? or did someone just make it up?

Thanks
