Difference between NEBDN and CACHE

If I may ask, are you completing / completed the Level 3 City and Guilds Dental nursing course?

CACHE are a different accreditation board for the course than NEBDN - most dental practice will be more aware of NEBDN than CACHE but the CACHE is still accepted by the GDC as a recognised qualification leading to registration with them which allows you work in the UK as a qualified dental nurse - you may just have to 'educate' some of the practices....

I recently enrolled on a dental nurse course which is CACHE. I have been applying for jobs in dental practices and a few have written "must be enrolled on an NEBDN course"


Are they different? Do I miss out any opportunities? I did research before applying to the course and the description was exactly the same for both CACHE and NEBDN...


any help would be appreciated!
