We stamp ours with a day/month/year but if there is only a month/year stamped I'd sat they need reprocessing at the beginning of the month.
Initials aren't required by HTM 01 05 but we do it in our practice for auditing purposes.

Yes initial them. We initial all of ours so we can trace it back if something is grubby still...

Also with the expiry date, I would say the first of the month if it has no 'day' on it... just to be safe. We date ours with day/month/year so there is no confusion as to when it actually expires.

Good luck with the inspection!

This is a matter of urgency as I have a practice inspection in a few days! And I'm hella lucky that no patients are booked that day!!

Poaching the instruments, do we have to initial them?
And if a product has an expiry date with month and year on it only does it mean up to the last day or does it mean 1st day of that month?
