disinfecting work from lab

we use eurosept max it needs to submerged for ten minutes . this is for all lab work coming in, and lab going out, in separate containers of course. ;) Also we use lables on the denture bags to state we have disinfected them.

Hi there

they will always say for impressions but they are safe for all laboratory work
some nurses use the ultrasonic bath for dentures, crowns etc choice is yours

thanks for your replies. as an update, our lab have suggested Milton sterilising fluid as an option. does anyone have any thoughts on this?

thanks for the reply, so are these products safe for using on crowns, dentures etc before fitting? because on the packaging it says its just for impressions.

We currently use Zeta 7 which I find very good nut there is also perform which I've used on past

hi guys

what does everybody use to disinfect incoming lab work (crowns, bridges, dentures, inman aligners etc) before fitting in patients mouth? our lab currently disinfect all lab work for us but have contacted to say they will soon be stopping this. all of the products I look at are for surface/impression disinfection. the one we currently use for our outgoing impressions is poisonous if swallowed so don't want to use that!!
