Heavy Duty Gloves

I don't think there is a specific rule about this - depends on how much space you have! We use the same pair (they have been washed with tap water).

I am due to start my course and my new career shortly as an apprentice dental nurse, I have no previous experience and just researching about HTM 01-05. In the guidance it states about heavy duty gloves being part of PPE in disinfection and decontamination, my question is, would you wear the same pair of heavy duty gloves to remove instruments from dirty, into the ultrasonic and then the same pair to inspect and dry the instruments or would this require another pair? The only reason I ask is the guidance is slightly confusing when reading and it seems to get mixed messages as in some say wear the same ones but clean between and then others say wear a new pair so that you don't recontaminate the instruments?
