head nurse- duties and responsibilities

I would say head nurse duties and responsibilities would vary from practice to practice.

I would imagine though that every head nurse is going to be responsible for implementing HTM01/05 and clinical aspects of CQC

She/he would ensure that junior members work is up to scratch and on appropriate personal development programs.

Some would have treatment co ordinator roles

I'd love to hear other people's take on this as well.

any head nurses/senior nurses can you give a list on responsibilities that they take on for the role and what qualities you have which help you in the role?
