On call

Hi, we have the same at my practice, we are on call from as soon as we finish Friday till when we are back in on Mondays, We get £30 for the weekend and are expected to arrive whatever time is needed. We also charge the patients around £130 call out fee, the chances of someone calling later at night are very slim!

Hi all does anyone else have an on call rota ? We are trying to thrash out a deal so far we have been offered £30 retainer and time and a half if called out but we have to be available 8am-6pm does that seem like a fair deal ? As nurses we had wanted a 2 hour slot for emergency patients but the principal dentist wants to come out whenever required in fact he wants to be able to come out after putting children to bed
