hi everyone!
im a recently qualified dental nurse, currently working towards my hnd qualification and i was just wondering how many of you take x-rays or impressions or any other extended duty and if an accident has happened under the dentists supervision eg taking an impression and the patient was gagging so much they complained to the gdc about it (i know that sounds specific, this didn't happen to me lol). who would be responsible, you or the dentist? would the insurance cover you?
sorry if the answer is obvious, im trying to find out information about the scope of practice when it comes to extended duties
