Oh Gosh thats a hard one, first you would have to start as a trainee nurse to enroll in the National exam for dental nurses as you can only work if you are enrolled in a qualification course or are a qualified dental nurse, the starting salary is either the minimum wage or around £7 to £8 an hour but that depends on the practice, so realistically is pretty tight if you think after tax you are going to be earning around £ 1.000 a month, but as you are a dentist you may find easier to get a job with a better pay, life in London is expensive but also will depend on your life stile and commute to work, area that you live in and so on.

Hi, am a dentist from Egypt, and I seek working in England for a year or two as a dental nurse till I can pass my ORE, so I will register for a 2 day familiarization course at a dental training centre then enrol for the national certificate, so far no problems at all but as I noticed all the dental nurses I saw are females, so how u see my chances as a male in getting a job as a dental nurse?
